Cottagers Forced to Leave

In the "That's gotta suck" category:

Cottagers have until Wednesday to clear out after the land they have leased on the Bruce Peninsula for 40 years is returned to the Chippewas First Nation.

Some 68 cottagers on Hope Bay have until the mid-week deadline to pack up their belongings and vacate the cottages because the Chippewas aren't renewing the long-term lease.

I would have something to say about that, including the fact that its incredibly unfair on the people have lived there for such a long time

It sucks to not have your land available for 99 years and then being told that those that leased the land want to keep it!

The cottagers' time was up. That was the deal and it is just and fair that they leave now.
